Rick Monti is an associate attorney at CFW+W, principally practicing in the firm’s real estate, construction, litigation and municipal practice groups. He represents clients in matters ranging from zoning and leasing issues, to breach of contract and employment cases.
Prior to joining CFW+W, Rick was a commercial litigation associate at a Pittsburgh law firm.
A 2018 graduate of the Duquesne University School of Law, Rick served as a Senator and the Chairman of the Academic Advising Committee for the Student Bar Association. Rick earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Wrongful Convictions. During his final two years of law school, Rick served as a law clerk at a large law firm in Pittsburgh’s Strip District neighborhood.
Rick is a proud alumni of The Pennsylvania State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, and of Central Catholic High School, where he played football and hockey.
Prior his law career, Rick was a newspaper journalist for Trib Total Media. Rick covered local politics, crime, and high school football while working as a reporter.
