Patrick Scully is an associate practicing in the firm's real estate and litigation groups. Before joining Cafardi Ferguson + Wyrick, Patrick served as the judicial clerk to the Honorable Judge Michael J. Lucas of the Washington County Court of Common Pleas Civil Division. There, Patrick took part in and observed cases across the entire civil litigation spectrum, including real estate disputes, zoning appeals, breach of contract complaints, employment disputes and personal injury lawsuits.
He obtained his undergraduate degree in International Politics with a minor in Labor and Employment Relations from Penn State University. In 2020, he relocated to Pittsburgh to enroll in the Duquesne University School of Law. During law school, he participated in several internships and clerkships that touched all areas of law, which include a clerkship at the Allegheny County Family Law Division, an internship at a small estate and trust practice, and a volunteer position at a non-profit environmental litigation group.
While Patrick was raised in Harrisburg, PA, his family has roots in Western PA. He is a staunch believer in educating yourself on a wide range of diverse topics outside of the workplace and experiencing new things. He loves to read fiction and non-fiction literature, writing, being outdoors (no matter the season!), traveling and basketball. Although not a musician himself, he has a deep passion for music of all genres, making him an avid concertgoer and vinyl collector.
